5 Days desert Tour from Marrakech ending in Fes

Day 1 :

Day 1

Our driver will meet you at your riad or hotel where you will be picked up. Then depart for Marrakech and transport across the High Atlas mountains via Tiz´N´Tichka pass, taking time to stop and enjoy beautiful landscapes, and coffee and fresh orange juice. Before we enter Ouarzazate, we visit the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This Kasbah has appeared in over 20 films, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia who was the first movie to be shot here.Dinner and overnight in the riad in Ouarzazate.

Day 2 :

Day 2

After breakfast, we will take a short visit to the movie studios and Kasbah Taouirt, before continuing the Valley of Roses and visiting the Kasbah Amerhidil in Skoura. This incredible Kasbah is located next to the river Amerhidil, is one of the largest in Morocco. There is possibility for lunch or just some tea or coffee, then we continue to Dades Boumalne and Dades Gorge, and see the beauty of this gorge, with its many berber villages and grand views throughout the valley. After we head for another spectacular gorge, drive via Tinghir and into the Todra Gorge, where we stay overnight in this beautiful canyon

Day 3 :

Day 3

After breakfast, you will walk around the Palm Plantations and enjoy the panoramic views of Todra River. Later on, we drive toward Tinjedad for a lunch meal on a local restaurant. Later you will pass by several villages such us Touroug (Berber village) and El-Jorf before reaching Erfoud. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive to the hotel and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp or an overnight in traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.

Day 4 :

Day 4

Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can have shower and breakfast. You will then have a tour of the dunes on 4x4 allowing you to visit the black volcanic rocks of fossils, visit a nomad family living in the desert, visit to Khamlia village and entertainment of their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake Dayte Sarji that forms in springtime which attract pink flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a break for lunch in Rissani. After lunch you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located on the foot of the dunes. Continue to your hotel for shower and relax. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Erfoud.

Day 5 :

Day 5

After breakfast departure from Erfoud, Aoufous and the Valley of Ziz. Continuation to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and have lunch break. After lunch you will be driven to Fes via the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). You will have a stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) before arriving to Fes. Transfer to your riad and end of our service.
